It is on its way

We see them leave our campus every week. It is a familiar sight. We can easily discover their destination. But seldom do we get a peek into the excitement a refurbished fire truck is generating for a local fire department.

In the mid-summer of 2019 truck #10744 was sold to Port Hawkesbury Volunteer Fire Department in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, Canada. A few weeks later, as the truck refurbishment was nearing completion we came across their Facebook page. It was here we got a glimpse into their excitement for the delivery of a new aerial.

Here are the posts:

No wind damage…

Nope, not wind damage. Getting ready for the new ladder truck. Making the door bigger.

Well done…

Saying goodbye to old Truck #3🚒 It served the town well!

After seeing the photo above, one community member asked: “Any photos of the replacement?”

We were glad to see this comment and thankful we could respond with this:

What started as a purchase from a fire department near Atlanta has become the talk of a community in Nova Scotia, Canada.

We are thankful for the business and honored that we can partner with fire departments to help them serve and protect their communities.
