Happy New Year!

As we enter into 2020, it is a natural time to reflect on the past year and to look ahead.

We have seen God do many amazing things in 2019; let's start with a moment of thanksgiving for that!

"We give thanks to you, O God, we give thanks!" Psalm 75:1

Often I am so focused on the future that I neglect to look back with a heart of thanksgiving at God's many wonders and provisions! So I want to change that and start 2020 by giving thanks for 2019.

As we look back, we also want to remember the original vision for our company: providing better service to fire departments than our local department received when they purchased a used truck in 2000.

It is hard to believe that it has been 20 years since the Brindlee Mountain VFD was shopping for a used firetruck and had a terrible purchasing experience. That was the catalyst for starting our own company, "to provide a better experience for other departments like BMVFD." And that vision has never changed, PERIOD.

How will we continue to do that?

We do it by striving to be excellent in every aspect of buying, selling, and fixing used firetrucks.

On the surface, that is a pretty simple goal. Underneath it, there are thousands of little details that have to be executed flawlessly day in and day out to make it happen. Let's continue to commit ourselves to those details - the total of a thousand well-executed details is a fire department receiving better service than what Brindlee Mountain VFD received 20 years ago, and that is why we do what we do.

As we go about our work, we remain steadfast in giving glory to God and being a witness to others for His faithfulness.

"We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done." Psalm 78:4

We have in our business, and our lives have seen praiseworthy deeds of the Lord; let us continue to tell them to the next generation!
