Facebook Login User Data Deletion Policy & Instructions

In compliance with Facebook’s Developer Policies, Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus provides this data deletion policy to outline how users can request the removal of their personal data associated with our application (the "App").

If you used your Facebook account to log into the App and wish to remove your account information, you can request data deletion at any time by following the steps below.

Data We Collect via Facebook Login

When you authenticate using Facebook Login, we may request access to the following basic information to create and personalize your account:

  • Public Profile: Your name and profile picture.

  • Email Address: Used for account verification, transaction receipts, and customer support communications.

How to Request Data Deletion

You can remove your data using either of the two methods outlined below:

Method 1: Remove via Your Facebook Settings

Facebook allows you to manage and revoke permissions for external apps directly from your profile. This will automatically stop the App from accessing your Facebook information.

  1. Log into your Facebook account and go to Settings & Privacy > Settings.

  2. Scroll down the left-hand menu and click on Apps and Websites.

  3. Locate the Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus application and click Remove.

  4. A confirmation pop-up will appear. If desired, check the box to delete all history, posts, or videos associated with the app on your timeline.

  5. Click Remove to finalize the request.

Method 2: Submit a Direct Deletion Request

If you want us to permanently purge all data we have stored on our servers that was retrieved via your Facebook login, please contact our data compliance team directly:

  • Required Information: Please include the full name associated with your Facebook profile and the email address used to log into the App so we can accurately locate your account.

Data Processing & Retention Timeline

Upon receiving a direct deletion request or an automated notification from Facebook:

  • We will verify the request and permanently delete your user profile, personal details, and linked Facebook data from our active databases within [30 days].

  • Please Note: Deleting this data is irreversible. Once processed, you will lose access to your account history, saved preferences, and saved apparatus listings linked to that account.

  • Certain historical data (such as formal inquiries, purchases, or legal agreements regarding fire apparatus) may be retained in our archive for financial, legal, or regulatory compliance as required by law.
