At Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus (BMFA), we are committed to our employees; we know that they are our greatest assets. We want to help them build a secure foundation for tomorrow, so our benefits package is designed with a variety of choices to best fit their needs, as well as to provide the support and flexibility they need at work and at home.

Medical

Employees may choose to participate in group health insurance where the cost of monthly premiums are shared between the employee and the company.  There are two plans to choose from.

Dental

Dental insurance is available for employees at a very reasonable cost with options of participation for the employee and dependents.

Vision

There is an option to participate in group vision insurance.

Life Insurance

Full-time BMFA employees are provided with fully paid group life insurance. Additional life insurance may be purchased for yourself and your dependents at a group discount rate.

Disability Insurance

BMFA  provides all full-time employees with Short-Term Disability insurance and Long-Term Disability insurance to provide you with income during a period of disability.

Paid Holidays & Paid Time Off

Paid holidays and paid time off are provided to all full-time employees.

Other Leave

Other leave, such as Bereavement Leave and Jury Duty Leave, are also available to our staff.
