The second week of Advent

Peace is not a word used very often to describe our current world.  It seems everywhere we turn we see the exact opposite.

The technology, travel, and housing might have been different in biblical times but they too would have viewed their world as one in turmoil.  One main reason is 'who' they were waiting for, a long-awaited promise. A promise that offered 'peace'.

His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. Isaiah 9:7
