No Empty Seats
The ‘all staff’ meeting was underway, we are a good ten minutes into the agenda. Due to a reason beyond their control, a team member had to arrive a few minutes late. He scouted the room and found no empty seats, so he stood quietly in the back.
A few moments later a fellow team member also stood up but he left the room. It was odd to see someone leave the meeting. However, their return was quick, and not empty-handed but carrying a chair. He made a straight line to the standing employee presenting the chair to him.
The gesture was a simple one, but it clearly demonstrates one of Brindlee Mountains core values: display a spirit of service to customers, community and each other.
Thank you, Butch, for living out our values.
