Learning From Others
The process of learning can be accomplished in many different forms including, reading a book, listening to a lecture, observing the actions of others and often through the experience of trial and error.
But one of the best ways to learn is from others experiences.
Earlier this week a team from Brindlee were privileged to attend and even participate in the local Fire Chiefs meeting. In this meeting, as it is, in many other areas of our state and throughout the country Fire Chiefs and other officers gather to exchange ideas and best practices. in doing so they learn from others that often eliminates the ‘error’ part of trial and error.
During this particular meeting, the chiefs heard an expert from the FBI on the subject of explosives and a local community official giving updates on what future development may look like. They also heard from our own Nate Smith giving a history of Brindlee and how we want to partner with Fire Departments so they can keep the best equipment possible in the best shape possible.
Brindlee was founded with the desire to serve those who serve others.
We continue to strive to be the best at what we do and that encompasses observing, listening and learning from others.
