Thankful, for more than fire trucks

Gratitude is one of our founding values and you would think that has to do solely with the business of fire trucks, but that would be incorrect.

Today our president, James Wessel sent this to our team.

Several years ago a sales rep from a dealership asked me to pray for him to forgive others.  He was going through a lot and was in a tough place. 

I have kept the recurring reminder to pray for him in our system and tried to do so a few times each year. 

Today I called to see if his cell number was still the same, it was, and we had the most amazing conversation.

He said that he started going to church a couple of years ago and was baptized. Now he is very active in the church and small group where they are currently studying John.

We had a really encouraging conversation and time of prayer.

Yes, we are in the business of buying, selling, and fixing fire trucks, but it is our mission to reflect Christ and make much of His kingdom while we do.

When we see that happening we shout out a BIG HALLELUJAH because we are thankful.
