A Virtual Lunch with James?

You can’t have a virtual lunch, because to have lunch is to ingest calories.

Lunch = a light mid-day meal

Meal = regular occasions for eating food.

Eat = to take into the mouth and swallow for nourishment.

However, you can have a virtual lunch meeting.

Virtual = temporarily simulated or extended by computer software.

Over the last couple of years, every employee has had the opportunity to sit and have lunch with our owner James Wessel. We want the tradition to continue, even during the current era of ‘physical distancing.’

Therefore, ‘virtual’ here we come.

Every Tuesday, during June, James will host a virtual lunch conversation. Here are the details:

  • seats at the virtual table limited to 8 persons

  • the virtual lunch should be logged as ‘training’ hours, not lunch.

  • bring your lunch

  • log in to the RingCentral Meeting (the meeting code is different for each week and will be sent to those registered)

  • lean in and participate in the conversation

Seats are limited around the table, reserve your spot today. Do so by following this link:

Wouldn’t it be nice if the food you ate during a virtual lunch were only virtual calories?
