In the State of Alabama, it is estimated there are 10,000 welder/fabricator jobs. Nationally that number expands to 404,800. And the welder job market is expected to grow by 5.6% between 2016 and 2026.

Brindlee Mountain is grateful to have four of those positions on our campus but even more grateful for the men who fill those positions. A big shout out to Gary, Lowell, Stephen, and Steven.

This team of men is dedicated to our mission of helping fire departments keep reliable fire trucks serving communities of all sizes.

On a daily basis, these men use their artistry, creativity, craftsmanship, and skill to

  • Straighten a fire truck frame that had been damaged in an accident

  • Reshape storage compartments to meet the needs of a department

  • Create new compartments making a used fire truck more efficient and effective
