What the company needs from this position is someone who is responsible for preparing repaired vehicles for refinishing and assisting Paint Technicians' with their work. Duties include sanding, masking, and priming vehicle parts. Must adhere to safety/OSHA guidelines and use required safety protection.

BASIC PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates care and concern towards fellow workers, members of the team, and the community, and demonstrates a servant’s attitude at all times.

SKILLS REQUIRED
2 years experience in automotive paint prep and buffing
1-year experience disassembling and reassembling automotive vehicles
Mechanical or electrical experience preferred
High School graduate or equivalent preferred
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS LEADING TO SUCCESS
Disassemble fire trucks efficiently
Store and tag components
Sanding, masking, and buffing fire truck surfaces
Reassemble fire trucks and install new components as requested.
Must be able to:
push/pull 50 pounds of dead weight
climb up and down a ladder
twist or turn in a confined space

TIME REQUIRED
Full time, hourly
