Week 25 - Karen White - Trusting God

I’m coming to you today from the passenger seat while my husband, Tim, drives us toward Nashville. While I can manage the basics of getting us there by heading north on Highway 65, I find myself completely dependent on Google Maps to find our hotel, a restaurant, or the ball game we’re attending tonight.

As helpful as technology is, it isn't always reliable. Tim and I have even found ourselves driving under the same bridge four times because our navigation wasn't accurate or up to date. It’s a great reminder that we shouldn't place our ultimate trust in human-made instructions.

Instead, I’ve been reflecting on the guidance we receive from our Heavenly Father. Here are a few thoughts from my devotional today:

  • Look to the Right Source: We need to look to God for true direction.

  • Trust in His Promise: As Psalm 32:8 says, He will instruct us, teach us the way to go, and counsel us with His loving eye on us.

  • Rest in His Guidance: If we put our trust in Him, He will always get us exactly where He wants us to be.

I am so grateful for a "good, good Father" who loves and blesses us. My prayer for you is that you can move forward with confidence today, knowing you are in His will.
