A successful candidate will support both the purchasing and sales departments, efficiently handling various administrative tasks.

BASIC PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB SUMMARY
Processing sales and purchasing inquiries and leads.
Creating appropriate records in Salesforce according to data integrity standards.
Monitoring various email accounts, reports, and dashboards for actionable activity.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Strong general computing skills and experience with data entry
Keystroke and typing skills above 75 words per minute
Strong attention to detail
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite
Previous experience managing a CRM (customer relations management) or database tool strongly preferred
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS LEADING TO SUCCESS
Process all leads in a timely manner
Create accurate records in Salesforce before distributing to the next sales or purchasing channel
Check system for duplicate records and reconcile all data discrepancies
Creating file storage folders on Google Drive and linking to Salesforce
Thoroughly document all activity in Salesforce
Monitor various company email accounts and distribute actionable activity as needed
Update existing product records
Monitor external auctions for new business opportunities
SUCCESS STARTS WITH THESE THREE
Response to inquiries and leads in two hours
Accurately create or update all related records in Salesforce
Distribute opportunity records to next purchasing or sales channel
TIME REQUIRED
Full time, hourly; occasional travel to trade shows
